}List a podcast's guests in an occupation or field
Ranks the guests and panelists a show booked who are listed under one occupation or field of research, by their appearances on the show, all time unless since or until narrows it: the people behind one of the codes GET /v1/podcasts//guests/expertise counts, and every other code and level too, including SOC groups and everyday names such as doctors. Appearances follow that profile’s rules (settled links, an analyzed appearance, and none whose analysis doubts the guest is the person linked), so the guests’ appearances add up to the profile’s count for the code; this list is current, while the profile is rebuilt at most once a day, so the two can differ until it is. The segment accepts a code, slug, or title from GET /v1/people/occupations or GET /v1/people/fields; a value both standards name resolves to the occupation, and the response’s code says which it resolved to. For the people in an occupation across every show, use GET /v1/people/occupations//guests.

Path Parameters
Podcast slug, internal ID, or numeric iTunes ID.
An occupation or field of research: a SOC 2018 or ISCO-08 code, slug, or title, a SOC group or everyday name such as doctors, or an ANZSRC 2020 field's code, slug, or title (political-science). A value both standards name resolves to the occupation, so reach a field whose code an ISCO group shares (3211) by its slug.
200Query Parameters
Results per page
1 <= x <= 100Opaque pagination cursor from previous response
Only appearances on episodes published on or after this date. Omit to count from the show's first episode, as GET /v1/podcasts/{id}/guests/expertise does.
"2026-01-01"
Only appearances on episodes published on or before this date; a bare date includes that whole day. Defaults to now.
"2026-09-30"
Only guests whose standing in their expertise is recognized this way: established (credentialed or widely recognized), self_described, or unverified.
established, self_described, unverified Response
OK
The occupation or field of research the {code} segment resolved to. A value both standards share resolves to the occupation: 3211 is ISCO-08 3211, and FoR 3211 is reached by its slug.
