# chat_public_share_not_allowed

> An organization with zero data retention shares Radar chats only with its members

| **HTTP status** | `403 Forbidden` |
| **Error code** | `chat_public_share_not_allowed` |

## What happened

The organization has zero data retention, and the request shared a Radar chat, or one of its turns, with anyone who has the link. A public link would copy the chat into every link preview and browser it reaches, so an organization with zero data retention shares chats only with its own members.

A public link made before the organization turned zero data retention on stops opening.

## How to fix

Share it with the organization instead: members open the link signed in, and its preview shows only that it was shared with the organization.

Share again with `"audience": "organization"`:

```bash theme={"dark"}
curl -X PUT https://api.particle.pro/v1/user/me/conversations/{id}/share \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer RADAR_JWT" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"audience": "organization"}'
```
