# account_sole_owner_with_members

> Account is the only owner of an organization with other members

## What happened

You asked to delete your account, but you are the only owner of an organization that has other members. Deleting the account would leave them in an organization nobody can manage, so nothing was changed.

## How to fix

Make another member an owner, or remove the other members, then delete your account.

Promote another member to owner:

Then retry `DELETE /v1/user/me`.

Requires the **OWNER** role.
