# Get how a Person speaks

> Breaks the Person's podcast lines down by speaker statement characteristic, per week or month bucket and over the window (the last year by default): how many of their scored lines are negative, neutral or positive; hedged, neutral or confident; vague, neutral or specific; and about the past, present or future, each as a share. Each bucket names its strongest lines for every outer label, with the episode and a link that plays the moment. A line counts when its speaker is settled as the Person, in any role; lines too short to read carry no characteristics. The {id} parameter accepts the Person slug (recommended) or the encoded Person UUID. To find their lines said a certain way about a topic, use GET /v1/podcasts/episodes/search with speaker and speaker_statement_characteristics.
